Such a refreshing experience with Innisfail Family Dental. Everyone was so pleasant to deal with and Dr Champney took the time to sit with me and thoroughly go through all my X rays and questions I had. I felt so comfortable and heard. Thank you. My entire family will be going here.

Krista

100% recommend coming here. Excellent communication from everyone and extremely accommodating, even with a toddler and baby in tow. Very good and patient with children getting their teeth checked too! Was unlike any other dentist experience ever before, and felt truly listened to and had all their attention during the appointment.

I always dread deep cleaning but wow this was the most painless one I've ever had. The hygienist is super supportive and sensitive to needs. I would highly recommend this dental clinic.

We have been with Innisfail Family Dental from the time we moved here in 2010. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and Dr. Champney has always been thorough and honest with us. All of my children have had their wisdom teeth removed at the clinic and we have had zero complications. The office follows the dental fee guide and if we’ve ever had a concern with service or fees they were quick to come to a resolution. Keep up the great work!

The friendliest staff I have ever had the privilege of encountering. Dr.Champney is not only extremely intelligent but he is patient, thorough and kind! I look forward to having a dental office I enjoy visiting.

Innisfail Family Dental is very clean, the staff is great, friendly and reassuring. Dr Champney is friendly and explains the work to be done and what to expect. The fillings were done quickly and painlessly.

As always, we had another great visit with Dr. Champney and his team. They have been taking care of my family for 8 years, and we'll never switch. Everyone is friendly, personable and are great with my kids, since they were little and now into their teens. Dr. Champney takes the time to do things right and makes sure we are comfortable at our visits. Would absolutely recommend.

Q: What dental services do you offer?

A: Our practice provides a wide variety of dental procedures, including procedures designed to improve the appearance of your smile, through various restorative and preventive treatments.  Refer to our Services tab for more details.

Q: Do you offer financial assistance?

A: Yes. We offer several options to make dental work easy and affordable to everyone. Speak to us to find out what options would be appropriate for you.

Q: What procedures are right for me?

A: The procedures that are right for you will depend on your current dental condition, as well as your personal goals and expectations. To learn more about your options, call or email our Innisfail, Alberta Canada office today to schedule your personal consultation. We'll be happy to discuss your options with you and answer any other questions you might have.

Q: Dental visits make me nervous. What options are available to me?

A: We offer a range of sedation dentistry options for patients who suffer from anxiety.

Q: How long should one brush?

A: One should spend at least two minutes brushing teeth, twice a day. To make sure you are doing two minutes worth of brushing, set an egg timer or invest in a toothbrush with a built-in timer. Spend your two minutes wisely: brush the front and back of the teeth, the chewing surface, and in between the teeth. Flossing and tongue scraping would also improve the overall health of your mouth.

Q: What do I do when a tooth is knocked out?

A: Immediately call Innisfail Family Dental for an emergency appointment. Only touch the crown of the tooth because touching the root will damage the cells necessary for bone reattachment. Gently rinse it in water to remove dirt, but DO NOT scrub it. Place the tooth in your mouth, between your gums and cheek to keep it moist, or else immerse it in milk. Getting to your dentist within 30 minutes can make a difference between saving and losing a tooth.
